Processing Time

All orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays, following the receipt of your order confirmation email. You will receive a notification once your order has been shipped.

Shipping Methods

We offer free ground shipping on orders over $79 to addresses within the United States, which includes US domestic and overseas military addresses, as well as US Protectorates. For orders below this minimum, shipping charges will apply along with any applicable taxes. Shipping rates are automatically calculated during the checkout process by USPS or UPS.

Store Pickup (South San Francisco, California)

For local customers in the San Francisco Bay Area, we offer a convenient store pickup option. Orders can be collected at our South San Francisco office during our office hours from Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for pickup.

Potential Delays

Please note that while we strive to provide prompt shipping, there may be potential delays due to a high volume of orders or issues with postal services that are beyond our control. We are committed to ensuring your order reaches you in a timely manner, but we appreciate your understanding in cases where unforeseen circumstances may lead to shipping delays.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at orders@chinabooks.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges

Returns:

We gladly accept returns within 14 days after delivery if the item remains unused and in its original, unaltered condition. Upon inspection and approval of the returned item, we will issue a refund for the entire order amount, minus the shipping costs associated with the return.

Damaged Items:

In the unlikely event that your order arrives in a damaged condition, we kindly request that you promptly contact us at orders@chinabooks.com, providing your order number and attaching a photo that accurately depicts the item's condition. We approach such situations on a case-by-case basis, but our commitment is to work diligently in pursuit of a mutually satisfactory resolution.
